Food

Do not feed human food to your dogs. It is not good for them. You can sometimes feed them fruits.

Things to buy before or after the adoption

Food, bowls for food and water, a collar, a leash, and bedding. Baby blankets or thin blankets that can fit in the washing machine are best for the bedding.

When picking up your dog please bring a leash and a collar.

Dog Training

Start training while the dog is a puppy. You can try to attend classes. If that is not possible you should use training books.

Walking your dog

Try keeping your dog on a leash, so it won't run away or cause damage. Always keep you dog by your side.

Accidents and Emergencies

An injured, frightened dog may bite. Muzzling is the quickest and easiest way to avoid getting anyone else hurt. Slip a sheet underneath the dog. Carry it as in a hammock by the scruff of the neck. Place a thick pad of cotton or a folded towel on areas of heavy bleeding and press firmly until vet arrives.
